Investors supervision over construction of A4 Motorway on Szarow - Krzyz section

Project description: Construction of A4 Motorway on this section is co-financed by the European Union from the Cohesion Fund, within a framework of the Operational Programme Infrastructure and Environment. The supervision services cover management and investor’s supervision over the construction of A4 Motorway on Szarów Interchange - Krzyż Interchange section from km 455+900 to km 512+800.

The investment was divided into 3 sections:

Section I - Szarów Interchange - Brzesko Interchange from km 455+900 to km 479+000
Section II - Brzesko Interchange - Wierzchosławice Interchange from km 479+000 to km 499+800
Section III - Wierzchosławice Interchange - Krzyż Interchange from km 499+800 to km 512+800

The investment involves construction of an A class road from km 455+900 to km 512+800 between axes of Szarów and Krzyż Interchanges, of the total length equal to 56.9 km. The designed road is located in Małopolskie Voivodship. Apart from the motorway construction, the scope of the investment covers:

  • construction of four interchanges: „Bochnia”, „Brzesko”, „Wierzchosławice” and „Krzyż”
  • reconstruction and construction of adjacent roads
  • construction of passenger service areas

Within a framework of the investment, the following interchanges linking the motorway with local roads will be constructed:

  • „Bochnia” Interchange linked to the poviat road No. k 1424-Bochnia-Ujście Solne
  • „Brzesko” Interchange linked to the voivodship road No. 768
  • „Wierzchosławice” Interchange linked to the voivodship road No. 975
  • „Krzyż” Interchange linked to the national road No. 73

Moreover, the construction of 66 large engineering structures are envisaged, such as: viaducts, flyovers, bridges in the course of and over the motorway.
