Project description: The project consists in the contract management in respect of “Construction of Mińsk Mazowiecki bypass in highway standard in course of the national road No. 2 on Choszczówka – Ryczołek interchange section from km 520+400 to km 541+249”, including supervision over the execution of works and management of the EU project.

The Project shall comprise two stages:

Stage I – review of the design documentation

Stage II – contract supervision and settlement;

The designed bypass constitutes a section of A2 motorway. It will be constructed from Warsaw towards east, along the section between Warsaw and Kukuryki (border crossing point with Belarus)

The A2 motorway construction phasing, consisting in the exclusion of the bypass for the city of Mińsk Mazowiecki from the entire undertaking aims at the quick construction of this route, enabling to shift the transit traffic (including in majority heavy vehicles traffic) outside Mińsk Mazowiecki city centre, where currently 26,000 vehicles pass every day, including 7 thousand of heavy-type vehicles.

The planned bypass reaching ca. 20.85 km shall run in the northern part of the city of Mińsk Mazowiecki covering the existing alignment of the road no. 2 in west, in the area of Choszczówka Rudzka village and on the eastern part in the area of Ryczołek village. It shall run through 4 communes: Dębe Wielkie, Mińsk Mazowiecki, Jakubów, and Kałuszyn

Contract duration: 47 months
