The company was established in 1998 under the name NEXEL Polska Sp. z o.o. and from that year until 2005 it was owned in 100% by a French consultancy company BCEOM - Société Française d'Ingénierie, established in 1949 and belonging wordlwide known Egis Group. It has been active on the Polish market since 1991. Since March 2005 the company had two main French shareholders : BCEOM (that currently functions under the name of Egis BCEOM Intenational) and Egis Route – Scetauroute S.A., to become finally the property of the sole shareholder Egis Inénierie as of March 27th, 2008. In the year 2007, and more precisely on 19 September 2007, the company changed its name into Egis Poland Sp. z o.o. This was the result of the Group’s policy, consisting in the adoption of unified names for all companies in the Group, which in turn was to emphasise the synergy between them and familiarise our clients and partners with the comprehensiveness of services that the new strong trademark of EGIS has to offer. A new Managing Director was appointed at the beginning of the year 2008 who took over the helm of the company and is responsible for fulfilling the assumptions made by the Egis Group - the development of activities on the Polish market.
