General informationEgis is a group belonging in 75% to the Caisse des Dépôts, being one of the biggest financial investors in Europe and in 25% to Iosis Partners. The Group renders consulting and engineering services in the field of transport infrastructure, construction, industry, water and sewage management, environment and energy. The Group is also involved in the business of setting up projects and road and airport operations. The new group was formed on 1 January 2011, by the merger of Egis, a leader in infrastructure engineering and Iosis, a French leader in building engineering and nuclear engineering. With 11,000 employees, including 7,000 in engineering and 800 M € turnover in 2010, the new group is present in over 100 countries and has about fifty offices in France. This new group is the only one in the French engineering construction to be in the top ten European groups and the top twenty world. Key figures:

New policyIn the year 2006 an enormous undertaking was initiated within the Egis Group, called project ONE, its aim being to unify the identity of the Group and at the companies belonging to it. Major assumptions of the project include an introduction of a new organisation system, new and common identity of the daughter companies - i.e. the same company logo, common element in their name EGIS, and a common strategy of development.
