Supervision Consortium of BCEOM and BIPROWOD-WARSZAWA Sp. z o.o. and Egis Poland Sp. z o.o. Contracting Party: Municipal Water and Sewage Company Sp. z o.o. in Toruń Project description: This project is crucial for the city and includes six contracts: 1. Contract W 02 - Replacement of asbestos-cement pipelines (2000/PL/P/PE/010-02) The aim of the Contract W 02 is a replacement of approx. 17 km of the water supply system distributing drinkable water across Toruń and replacing them with an asbestos-cement pipelines of a nominal diameter from 80 mm to 200 mm. 2. Contract W 03 - Construction of main collectors for Northern Toruń (2000/PL/P/PE/010-03) Contract W 03 includes construction of rain water and sanitary collectors for the Northern part of Toruń of total length 6,200mb which will enable further expansion of detailed systems and sewage intake from housing estates, as well as rain water from road infrastructure. Due to bankruptcy of companies accompanying the Consortium (Contractor) the original contract was dissolved and only after another tender was announced a new Contractor was chosen. 3. Contract W 04 - Construction of a sewage swing through Vistula river, and construction of collectors for Podgórz Housing Estate (Phase I 2000/PL/P/PE/010-04) The aim of the Contract W 04 is to enable a transport of sanitary sewage form the Southern part of Toruń, under the bottom of the Vistula river, to the existing sanitary sewage system, and to transport them further to the Urban Sewage Treatment Plant. Such a solution enables a development of the sanitary sewage system across Podgórz city district on the Southern (left) bank of the Vistula river in Toruń. This will also enable to exploit the flow capacity of the existing, modern sewage treatment plant that was designed for a flow capacity of 90,000 m3/d, and within the current sewage inflow it is under loaded. 4. Contract W 06 - Construction of a sewage system for Grębocin Bielawy and Czerniewice Housing Estates (200/PL/16/P/PE/010-06) According to the assumptions of the Municipality of the City of Toruń and Toruńskie Wodociągi within ISPA/ Cohesion Fund project a sanitary distributive sewage system, storm water sewage system, sewage pumping station, and storm water cleaning station is planned for Grębocin-Bielawy and Czerniewice Housing Estates in Toruń. This contract was completed in November 2007. 5. Contract W 07 - Construction of a sewage system for Wrzosy, Kaszczorek, and Winnica Housing Estates (2000/PL/16/P/PE/010-07) The aim of the contract W 07 is to execute technical designs for a sanitary and storm water sewage system, as well as a construction of the systems along with facilities across Kaszczorek, Wrzosy, and Winnica Housing Estates. The aim of sewage systems construction is to improve living conditions of the inhabitants, soil and underground waters protection against the contamination from sewage and storm waters percolated into the soil, and will participate in liquidation of the existing, often untight tanks for contamination from the premises. 6. Contract W 08 - Construction of main collectors in the Northern part of Toruń, and a sewage system for Podgórz, Stawki, and Rudak Housing Estates (2000/PL/16/P/PE/010-08) The aim of the Contract W 08 is to prepare technical designs for sanitary and storm water sewage systems, as well as development of these systems across Podgórz, Stawki, and Rudak Housing Estates in Toruń. The aim of the construction of the sewage system is to protect the soil and underground waters against the contamination from sewage and storm waters percolating into the soil. |
