Contracting Party: Municipal Water and Sewage Company Sp. z o.o. in Wroc³aw Project description: The Project is the second phase of the “Solution for water and sewage economy in Wroc³aw” project, where phase I was granted a subsidy form the ISPA fund. Execution of all phases of the hereby project will enable to provide complex solutions for indemnity of major needs of the inhabitants for water supply and sewage treatment according with current EU regulations. Actions covered by the project fulfil the aims of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and the Sustainable Development, as well as the National Strategy for Regional Development, and Programme for Sustainable Development and Environmental Protection for the Lower Silesia Region. Tasks performed within the “Improvement of the water and sewage economy in Wroc³aw – Phase II” project, with the Contract Engineer supervision, are the following: Task B1 – Target treatment system – development and modernization of the Sewage Treatment Plant in Wroc³aw with the following works performed within the task: Development of the mechanical art of the sewage treatment plant through an assembly of thin grids and one thick grid, as well as drift fenders from the grit chamber, modernization of the main pumping station through an assembly of additional pumps, wet wells encapsulation, execution of a system for fat elimination and odour neutralization, construction of a reception installation and installation rendering separated and delivered fats harmless, construction of preliminary radial settling tanks, modernization of existing biological blocks and construction of new ones, expansion of blower stations, construction of secondary settling tanks, modernization and construction of sludge pumping stations and gravitational thickeners of preliminary settling tanks, construction of separated digestion chambers and expansion of an interchanger, etc. Task B2 – Target treatment system – Stary Port pumping station – modernization and swing system with the following works performed within the task: a) Construction of a new pumping station, grit chamber and grids, a transformer station with channels and accompanying objects across Stary Port at Kleczkowska Street in Wroc³aw, |
