Warszawie Spółka Akcyjna Gross contract value: EUR 556,320.00 Project description: The investment is the most important project implemented by MPWiK S.A., being a part of the undertaking “Water supply and sewage treatment in the capital city of Warsaw – Phase III”. The principal task of the designed sewage transmission system is taking-over sewage from the left bank Warsaw, previously disposed into the Vistula river, with the help of Burakowski collector at the height of the designed route of Northern Bridge and Bielański collector at the height of Bielańsk forest and supplying them to Czajka Treatment Plant. This investment is divided into 2 implementation stages, where Stage I is currently implemented, located entirely at the area of Białołęka city district. The route of the collector with the interior diameter of 2800 mm running along the following streets: Myśliborska, Światowida, Produkcyjna, Modlińska (along the green belt) and planned streets: Mehoffera-Bis to Czajka Treatment Plant. The collector shall be implemented in a non-excavation method, with the use of microtunnelling technology. This is an innovative method, non-intrusive for the environment and surrounding, consisting in construction of large diameter pipelines by means of underground tunnels, especially useful in urban areas with high street traffic volume. IStage II of the investment is planned to be performed in years 2010 – 2012, and its shall include, among others, a crossing under the Vistula river. Here, also, a non-excavation method – TBM (Tunnel Boring Machine) – will be applied. Planned date of Contract completion: 30.09.2010 |
