On 10-11 June 2010, representatives of Egis Poland and CGM Projekt participated in the seminar entitled "Land surveying and civilisation development of a city and region", organised under honorary auspices of Mazowiecki Voivod. The Seminar is a cyclical occassion of meeting representatives of the government, self-governments and key companies on the market. The attraction and integral part of the Seminar was a sailing Regatta for the Voivod's Cup and reward. A team composed of representatives of CGM Projekt in Katowice also tried their hand at the regatta. Though they did not make any spectacular success, their fighting spirit was incredible !
Suchedniow 2010

The annual integration meeting for all employees and collaborators of Egis Poland took place on 28-29 maja 2010. The party was organised in Suchedniów and attended by nearly 200 people. Owing to outstanding western country atmosphere and creativity of organisers, the meeting will be long remembered by its participants. The afternoon part of the meeting was an opportunity to impress everyone with cowboy talents. The integration at night was varied by country (fortunately not only!) music and excellent food, and lasted till dawn.
ITS Congress 2010

On 19-20 May 2010, in Radisson Blu Hotel in Warsaw, took place ITS 2010 Polish Congress się III entitled: "Little money - big benefits. ITS is a way to overcome the crisis". Egis companies (Egis Poland, Egis Projects, Egis Projects Polska and Egis Mobilite) participated in the event as a platinium sponsor. Interesting subjects were touched upon, related to, among others, transport policy and ITS financing, electronic toll collection, urban mobility, ITS systems for towns and traffic management systems. On the first day of the Congress, Mr. Mounir Chaouche representing Egis Projects gave a speech on: "Clearing House" Development and Operations. Comparison of various ETC projects", whereas on the second day, Mr. Farid Debbah from Egis Mobilite deliberated on: "The Multimodal Mobility Agency: New concept of mobility management by the public authorities".
A1 Czerniewice-Kowal - another success!

On May 11th, 2010, the consortium of Egis Poland / Egis Route-Scetauroute signed the contract with GDDKiA Branch in Bydgoszcz for "The management of construction of A1 Toruń-Stryków Motorway, section Czerniewice - Kowal from km 151+900 to km 215+850, including investor's supervision over construction works." Within a framework of the project, management, coordination, monitoring and supervision services will be rendered for the two following contracts:
- construction of A1 Toruń-Stryków motorway on Section I: Czerniewice-Odolion from km 151+900 to km 163+300 and Section II: Odolion-Brzezie from km 163 to km 186+366
- construction of A1 Toruń-Stryków motorway on Section III: Brzezie-Kowal from km 186+348 to km 215+850.
Contract signing - A4 Szarów-Krzyż

On 26th February, 2010, the joint venture of Egis Poland (Leader) / DHV Polska / MGGP signed with GDDKiA Branch in Cracow the contract for "Management and investor's supervision over construction of A-4 Motorway, Szarów Interchange - Krzyż Interchange, from km 455+900 to km 512+800". The contract implementation is planned for 24-month construction period and 14 months of defects notice period. The contract covers management, coordination, control and investor's supervision services for the following contracts:
- Construction of A-4 Motorway, section Szarów Interchange - Brzesko Interchange from km 455+900 to km 479+000;
- Construction of A-4 Motorway, section Brzesko Interchange - Wierzchosławice Interchange from km 479+000 to km 499+800;
- Construction of A-4 Motorway, section Wierzchosławice Interchange – Krzyż Interchange from km 499+800 to km 512+800.
Contract signing - Modlińska Street

We are pleased to inform that on February 17th, 2010, Egis Poland Sp. z o.o. signed the contract for the supervision and management of the works contract for the project entitled „Engineer for the construction of the water main in Modlińska Street” with Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Wodociągów i Kanalizacji w m. st. Warszawie S.A. (Municipal Water Management Company). The investment is co-financed from public funds and, among others, from the Cohesion Fund. The major goal of the project is to improve the effectiveness of water supply to the city of Warsaw from Nothern Pipeline.
On December 29th, 2009, we signed the contract for Continuation of the supervision and management of modernisation of E30 railway line on Legnica – Węgliniec section, project No. 2001/PL/16/P/PT/013, contract No. 60/005/072/001313/09/I/I. The contract also comprises supervision over additional project, aiming at the implementation of environmental constraints requirements of the investment. The consortium is composed of the same companies as initially (Egis Poland / Egis Route / Halcrow), however it is now Egis Poland who performs the leader's role.
Contract signing - supervision of E30 ERTMS

On December 17th, 2009, the contract was signed with PKP PLK S.A. for the supervision and management of the project "Modernisation of E30 railway line, stage II. Pilot implementation of ERTMS in Poland, on the section: Legnica - Węgliniec - Bielawa Dolna in ETCS II part". The supervision will be performed by the JV of Egis Poland (as a leader) / Egis Rail / Halcrow Group. The project is a real success in the development of the Polish railway transport infrastructure and the contract signed can be regarded as a milestone for the creation of modern railway connections in Poland. The investment will enable improvement of traffic control along the line section, increase in the railway traffic safety, improvement of transport quality and efficiency of the railway line use, as well as shortening of the travel time and increase in the line capacity.
Purchase of Biprogeo Projekt company

On December 01st, 2009, Egis finalised the purchase of 100% of shares in the initial capital of Biprogeo Projekt. The purchased company specialises in the road design, in particular in difficult conditions of highly urbanised areas, which will enable the differentiation of Egis Poland offer in the field of design services. Biprogeo Project is considered as one of the leaders of Wrocław agglomeration market and is famous for its know-how in the scope of roads and tram lines design in urban conditions. One of its particular achievements is the design of Wrocław Inner-City Bypass, including a nearly 1-km long Millenium Bridge. In addition, the company has been many times awarded for its activity, among other wit ISO certification, "Fair Play 2008 company" certificate and the Economic Certificate of Lower Silesia region.
Purchase of CGM Projekt company

On November 18th, 2009, Egis finalised the purchase of 100% shares in the capital of CGM Projekt . The purchased company has been active on the road design marked for over 10 years and is a perfect completion of Egis Poland design activity. CGM Projekt will considerably strengthen Egis Poland capacity in terms of road and water-sewage design as well as provide additional competence in "design & build" projects. The company has offices in Warsaw, Katowice and Lublin, rendering services mainly for GDDKiA in 4 regions of Poland, Regional Roads Authorities, municipalities and contractors.
