The largest road and highway construction fairs across the Eastern Europe took place in Kielce between 14-16 May 2008. Moreover, the fair covered the theme of construction equipment and “Highway – Poland” airport infrastructure. This year’s fairs, taking place for the 14th time, beat records in every field: you could see over 2000 pieces of equipment and devices used in construction and to improve the road and airport safety. Egis Poland arranged a stand propagating the new EGIS logo and, most of all, informing on the wide scope of infrastructure project possibilities of the Group in Poland. The exhibitors representatives, as well as numerous people visiting the fair, had an opportunity to get acquainted with brochures describing current and former activity of and services provided by the Egis Group both in Poland and around the World.

On 8 May 2008 we concluded an agreement with the Mazovian Zarząd Dróg Wojewódzkich in Warsaw for the elaboration of design documentation for the undertaking “Development of the Regional Road no. 719 on the line Warsaw – Pruszków – Żyrardów – Kamion, on the section between Partyzantów street and Bohaterów Warszawy street across Pruszków, in the pruszkowski poviat, Mazovian Region”. The duration period of the contract is forecast for 12 months from the day of its signing.

Following the VIP party held for our key clients in December, we have had an opportunity to repeat the success of this event by organizing a party for our clients operating in Wrocław and surrounding areas. Thriving activity of the subsidiary resulted in entering into cooperation with several institutions of Dolnośląskie Voivodship, whose representatives were our guests and obtained information about the changes occurring in the company.

Mr Frédéric Nicolon, acting as a member of the Management Board of Egis Poland, according with the resolution of partners of the company as of 30 September 2007, was appointed as the Managing Director of Egis Poland. Mr Marc Borel informed about this in an official letter. Mr Nicolon also holds the function of the President of the Management Board of Egis Project Polska.

On 12 December 2007, the beautiful interiors of of Szustra Palace in Warsaw could guest an official and ceremonial reception on the 20th Anniversary of Egis Group activity in Poland. This event had a special meaning as it allowed to present to our key clients the new face of our company and, simultaneously, was a summing up of all the changes that took place in the year 2007 within the Group.

On 18 October 2007 we officially moved our seat through an appropriate entry into the National Court register KRS. The real transfer of our seat took place on 22 October 2007 when our company moved to a new, bigger office located closer to the centre of Warsaw. The IO-1 Tower office block is located at 182 Puławska Street where Egis Poland, Egis Route, Egis Projects Poland, and Egis Rail are on the 7th floor.

We kindly inform that from 19 September 2007 our company has a new, official name – Egis Poland Sp. z o.o. The above change is a response to a dynamical development on the infrastructure market, as well as the realization of the strategy of consolidation taken by Egis Group. Application of a uniform name of companies of the Group is to emphasize the connection between them, and to make our clients and partners aware of the comprehensiveness of our services that the strong EGIS trade mark has to offer.
